September 18th, exactly one year after we first landed in Mexico for my husband's fulbright grant we returned to the this once floating city. We came back without jobs just hoping I could take my photography business to the next level while we are waiting to hear if Doug will be hired as a private consultant for the Juvenile court here in the city. We didn't know if I'd book any sessions at all but here I am today swamped with so many sessions to edit before we leave to go back to Minnesota for Christmas. I can't believe it's been almost 3 months since we moved. We have been so blessed! We brought samples of our products and I got new business cards and have done one bazaar to promote myself. Everything else has been word of mouth advertising. We have two very supportive communities surrounding us and who are faithfully referring me; from church and the parents from my daughter's school. It is now 2 months in and I have been able to photograph children and families from all over the world who live here in Mexico City. These beautiful faces so far have been from, Canada, France, Germany,  Taiwan, United States, Mexico and Ecuador. I'm sure there will be many more to come. Each family blesses me and is making me a better photographer. I'm so glad you stopped by to read and hope that not only my posts will make you smile and laugh but also that my photos will just keep getting better and worth your time looking at. Blessing friends. Amanda
